Canterbury Swim & Tennis Club is unique in the northwest Ohio area because it’s actually owned by its members. Families buy a share of stock when they join the Club, and can sell their stock if they discontinue membership. Owning stock allows members to participate in decision making, and to suggest new programs, facility improvements, and changes in policies and procedures. Many families have belonged to Canterbury for more than a decade. It’s a place where members and staff know you and your children. . . making it a secure and comfortable environment. It’s a place to make friends!
An emphasis on swimming skills & fun! Our members agree. . . you get a lot for your money at Canterbury! Swimming, tennis, social activities (like a Fourth of July cookout, “Moonlight Swims,” and “Scary Movie Night”), and certified swim lessons for kids are all included in your annual dues. Our competitive swim team, the Stingrays, is open to all members ages 5-17 for a very nominal fee, and emphasizes swimming skills and fun! Tennis lessons, leagues and clinics, and special programs like diving and synchronized swimming are also offered at a very reasonable cost. It’s like a summer camp for the entire family!

If you invite someone and they purchase a stock-owning membership, your name will go into a drawing. Your name is entered for each person you invite who buys a stock-owning membership. If your name is drawn, your 2008 Membership Dues will be refunded in full!!
